The Grant Will Accelerate Clear Comfort’s Launch of Its Innovative Pool Sanitation Technology and Process
Boulder, Colo. — Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014 — Clear Comfort, a Boulder-based startup providing a patented advanced oxidation technology to the pool industry, today announced it was awarded the Advanced Industries (AI) Accelerator Programs Grant by the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT). The Early Stage Capital and Retention Grant, in the amount of $250,000, will enable Clear Comfort to bring its product to more markets across the nation more quickly.

AI Early Stage Capital and Retention Grants are awarded to early stage Colorado startups that have created viable technologies and products that meet market needs.

The Advanced Industries Accelerator Programs were created in 2013 to promote growth and sustainability by helping drive innovation, accelerate commercialization, encourage public-private partnerships, increase access to early stage capital and create a strong ecosystem that increases the state’s global competitiveness.
